The sipmac team owes big the late Andrew Breitbart. I never thought I would talk about it, not these days at least, but after all he passed away. It has been a shock to all of us. The first member of the sipmac team was April Camus, who started sipmacrants!, almost as an intimate outlet for his thoughts. Then came Dr. sipmac, the truly one with fire in the belly. Rito Dávila and I were next. Agent P, Despalomado, A.S. Finch and Picornell were the last additions to a team of bloggers that felt they had a lot to tell about everything. They joined their efforts and the team was born.
We didn’t agree verbatim with Andrew Breitbart’s worldview (for Dr. sipmac is quite like revealed word while The Finch is practically immune to conservative rethoric), but he showed us the way to build a net of blogs a lot of you seem to enjoy, i.e. with diverse grades of success, I might add.
Anyway, the structure of the Breitbart’s Big Blogs were our inspiration to carry on writing our articles and to aim always big. 130.213 visits may not be a lot compared with more successful standards, but they mean a lot to us and we are thankful for them each passing day.
We should thank Andrew Breitbart for the inspiration and for being a role model to us. As I say, you may disagree a lot with him, but he won a big niche in the new media, broke huge news and change the course of the news input by counterbalancing the influence of other media.
We pray for him, for his family and his friends. God rest your soul, Andrew Breitbart. We’ll miss you.
